Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Application

The Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) Application

The Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) program is an extension of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program (DACA). DAPA was announced on November 20, 2014, when President Obama initiated an Executive Order on Immigration. DAPA is a new program projected to begin mid to late May 2015. If your DAPA application is approved, you will receive deferred action and employment authorization for a period of three years. In order to be eligible for DAPA, you must be the parent of a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Additionally, you must have lived in the United States continuously since January 1, 2010, until the time you apply for DAPA. You must have also been physically present with no lawful status in the United States on November 20, 2014, and at the time you submit your DAPA application.
